Summer

A month has past since I last wrote and it's finally warm enough to open the doors and let the summery ocean breeze blow through from the forest! It has been a busy month...

I had the great pleasure of supporting Christine Anu at the Brass Monkey in Cronulla at the end of November. It was a fabulous night with a great crowd and inspiring to hear her sing My Island Home live!>

The following week I headed out through NSW and the ACT for my Reap What You Sow Tour, playing some great shows in Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra. The definite highlight was having my brother Ant play bass with me at The Front Gallery in Lyneham. Playing music with my brothers is one of my favorite things to do, so I was very happy that we finally achieved this again after what feels like forever!

I had a lot of fun attending the Australian Songwriters Awards where my song The Tide placed 4th in the Folk/Acoustic category and Not My Island placed 7th in the Ballad category.

I spent Christmas Day songwriting which was really great! Hope you all had a great Christmas. x
